Job Description:
Perform library support tasks under regular supervision for assigned staff members within the Information Resource Center (IRC). This is a part-time 20 hour per week position.
Typical work-related activites include:
Assist with cleaning up catalog records in the new Integrated Library System (ILS)
Assist with collection maintenance
Assist with adding tags to ACT Research Reports and other ACT documents
Scan a variety of documents using established procedures
Ensure proper handling of archival documents
Use established metadata procedures to catalog scanned documents
Shelve library materials and archive boxes. The weight of boxes may range between 5-40 lbs.
Copy catalog materials using OCLC and MARC tags
Operate and assist patrons with the use of standard library equipment such as the microfiche/film reader, printer, photocopier, and computers
Process and circulate Information Resource Center materials, including applying barcodes, establishing or deleting patron records, recalling checked out items, placing holds, sending out circulation lists
Assist in the maintenance and mending of library materials
Other tasks as assigned
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required. One year of library experience and familiarity with online library catalogs preferred or relatable experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.

COMPENSATION:
Starting salary $11.85 per hour

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
