Description: Loparex LLC is the worlds largest manufacturer of extrusion base and silicone
coated release liners for the converting industry. We have manufacturing
operations throughout the U.S., Europe, China, Thailand, and India. The Iowa City
facility has been in operation since 1970 and annually supplies three billion square
feet of release liner worldwide. We are currently looking for a Receptionist/HR
Assistant to join the Iowa City team.
Primary responsibilities for this position include; answering the phones and greeting visitors, ordering and maintaining supplies for the office, data entry, sorting mail and coordinating shipping needs for the office, coordinating meetings and meals, clerical support for the human resource office and other departments as needed. This position reports directly to the Sr. Human Resource Manager.
Duties: -Answers switchboard and greets all guests to the facility
-Maintains and orders supplies for the office
-Updates employee phone directory and company organizational chart
-Enters training records into data base and maintain records
-Greets interview candidates, organizes their tours and paperwork
-Coordinates company car
-Coordinates meetings, conference rooms and meals for events
-Coordinates shipping needs for the office.
-Sorts mail and faxes; distributes to employee mailboxes and sends out overnight mail.
-Produces and handles confidential and time-sensitive information, data, correspondences and reporting.
-Maintains postage machine and other office equipment
-Regular, consistent attendance
Qualifications: -Associates degree or equivalent education and experience in human resources, customer service and working with sensitive information.
-1 to 3 years previous receptionist/customer service experience required
-Solid computer skills required
-Strong customer service skills
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing
-Experience in preparing correspondence, forms, reports and arranging meetingsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
