The Administrative Services Coordinator will provide administrative and grant support for the daily operations of the Institute.
This individual will work with multiple constituents within Tippie and requires strong administrative, program management, logistics, and writing skills.
This position will report to the IIB Director.
The Institute for International Business (IIB) is a partnership between the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center and the Tippie College of Business.
IIB is dedicated to advancing knowledge and international skills in business and educational communities.
Specific Job Duties and Tasks Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, and activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
Manage calendars, schedule calls, and set up meetings using Outlook.
Support the IIB director in the international student recruitment effort before and after any travels.
May provide functional supervision of staff/interns including providing direction, assignments, feedback, and coaching.
Establish and/or coordinate clerical reporting functions.
Assist with travel arrangements and travel expense reimbursements for IIB personnel.
Assist in the preparation of strategic plans on a programmatic or service level.
Create documents to summarize and track various programs.
Liaise with appropriate individuals/agencies regarding programs or services.
Produce and edit content for bi-annual newsletter, social media, and web.
Assist with drafting and editing of proposal narratives, supporting documents, and grant budgets.

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications Demonstrates experience at a minimum of one year and a working level of ability, to carry out ongoing office administration tasks effectively and efficiently in support of individuals, teams, and/or units, including proficiency with computer software applications.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills with a wide range of constituents.
Demonstrated competency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to effectively coordinate and manage multiple projects.
Demonstrated global perspective and experience in working in a culturally diverse environment.
Demonstrates a working knowledge of and application of the effective communication techniques and relationship building skills required to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
Demonstrated strong attention to detail.
Desired Qualifications Comprehensive knowledge of UI policies and procedures.
Demonstrated success in grant writing or business development.
Demonstrated experience in creating reports and managing budgets.
Experience in public relations and traditional media and social media outreach.
Experience liaising with/reporting to funding organizations.
Demonstrated experience engaging with clients on business development opportunities.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
