00 an hour We are looking for a caring individual to work with children ages birth - 12 years.
This position is part-time, 15 - 20 hours per week.
Hours are flexible however, we are most interested in hiring people who are available 2:
30 - 6PM, Monday - Friday.
Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age.
Be reliable and conscientious in carrying out assigned duties.
Demonstrate a patient and loving attitude toward young children.
Be flexible in working with different age groups.
Must not have a conviction of any offenses as stated in regulations as required by law.
Responsibilities Interact with children in a manner that clearly conveys love and acceptance.
Respond to children by holding, smiling, and speaking in a positive tone of voice.
Assist children in developing self-help skills.
Initiate classroom activities and cooperate with child-initiated activities and explorations.
Participate in supervising free play and outdoor play.
Assist and supervise children during toileting period.
Follow the health and safety policies and procedures.
Ask for help and assistance when needed.
Be prompt and dependable in attendance.
If attendance is not possible, I will contact the director by phone two hours prior to my shift.
Help with clean-up of snacks, meals, and activities.
Display respect for others, both children and staff.
Follow all policies and procedures.
Will work under the direction of the Lead Teacher, Coordinator and Director.
Sanitize equipment daily, take out garbage, sweep and mop floors, vacuum carpets, clean toilets, and all other cleaning assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
