Registered Nurse RN/LPN Licensed Practical Nurse:
Responsibility for daily nursing operations of a specific hall Provides nursing care for each assigned patient/resident including ongoing assessment and treatment to ensure the highest level of functioning is attained Administers prescribed medications orally and by injection; provides treatments using therapeutic equipment; ensures proper handling and storage of medications and controlled substances Observes, records and reports changes in patient/residents' conditions to supervisor and attending physician Utilizes the Electronic Health Record to document care (Point Click Care) Plans, supervises and instructs Certified Nursing Assistants on daily assignments to ensure quality of care provided Provides education to patients/residents and families regarding care and maintains effective communication Experience and
Qualifications:
