39 per hour To schedule and coordinate surgical and procedural patients in Employee Health Record (EHR).
Monitors all software updates associated with EHR scheduling.
Adjusts schedules accordingly.
Monitors schedules to assure patient compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
Schedules and maintains procedure and clinic schedules.
Runs recall lists and communicates with patients and physicians regarding schedule changes.
Utilizes hospital computer applications to prepare schedules, templates; and assignments for the OR and Endoscopy schedule.
Monitors schedules for gaps and completes corrective actions.
Reports on variances to manager.
Communicates with manager, provider, patients, hospital and referring providers regarding schedule.
Enters and verifies patient demographics and assists with corrections, when needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements Education:
High School Diploma - required Associates Degree - preferred
Experience:
A minimum of three years experience in an medical scheduling or clerk position is desirable.
Certifications:
Current Basic Life Support validation or successfully complete BLS course within 3 months of date of hire - required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
