Pay Range:
$15.
15-$20.
52 per hour.
Your starting hourly wage will be directly based upon years of relevant experience to the position.
We will give you full credit for each year of past experience you have.
Job Duties Assists in monthly and annual inventories.
Batches paperwork and total daily issues.
Checks item expiration dates and rotates items accordingly.
Completes orders, stocks supply stations, and distributes patient care supplies to designated areas of the hospital utilizing the par stock replenishment system.
Delivers ordered item to designated areas; replenishes cleaning materials.
Fills requisition and phone orders for supplies.
Delivers or arranges for supplies to be delivered; Fills STAT requisitions and phone orders immediately.
Delivers or utilizes Patient Escort service to ensure prompt delivery of supplies.
Logs and posts all issues from and returns to the Storeroom on a daily basis.
Maintains work area equipment, and supply stations, in a clean, orderly and sanitary manner, disposes of trash, reports faulty working equipment.
May store, identify and inventory materials, supplies and products in designated areas; stocks shelves, checks expiration date and rotates items.
Monitors computer inventory sheets, keeps track of item usage and adjusts as needed, checks dated items, checks items against sheet for inventory control purposes on set schedule, applies account numbers for cost center billing, makes changes and credits Notes and informs designated supervisor of any shortages of supplies or discrepancies in shelf counts.
Receives and fills requisitions for supplies and equipment such as office supplies, prosthesis for surgery and central sterilizing, maintains a log of telephone calls; distributes supplies to designated areas.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent experience required.
