The position will work with the project Principal Investigator (PI), team members, and project consultants to perform research on the project.
The Research Associate will work 100 hours in year one, 100 hours in year two, and 25 hours in year three, at an hourly rate of $30/hr.
Responsibilities will include collaboration with other project team members; archival and academic research and writing; and dissemination of results through publications and workshop presentations.
Graduate students in related areas of humanities or social science are preferred; familiarity/background with relevant research topics also preferred, including water governance, racial politics, research methods including focus groups, research ethics, digital humanities, and/or website design.
The position will run from June 1, 2023 - May 31, 2025.
This is a part-time position; work hours to be set in consultation with the project PI.
Salary rate will be $30/hour.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
