All shifts are available (8am-4pm), (4pm-12am) and 12am-8am/Overnights.
The Direct Support Professional provides assistance to people living in the community as they move to achieve personal goals of their own choice.
They support individuals in the expansion of their abilities, empowering them to choose and be successful in valued roles within their living, learning, working and social environments.
Duties include:
Utilize our customer individualized service plan to teach daily goal.
Support customers as the identify and build natural supports for their needs.
Understand and maintain privacy and demonstrate respect.
Demonstrate good role modeling for people we serve.
Be flexible as customer needs, emotions and schedules change; this may include working evenings, weekends and holidays.
Complete individual service documentation following Optimae's policy and procedure.
Participate in team meetings, training and personalized monthly coaching.
Communicate with team members.
Qualifications :
Be at least 18 years of age.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Licensed driver with a dependable vehicle and automobile insurance - preferred.
Background check required which includes Child and Dependent Adult Abuse and Driving record checked Job Types:
