Responsibilities:
As a Direct Support Professional at The Arc of Southeast Iowa you will work with children, teens and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to help them to learn skills needed to gain or maintain independence.
You may assist an individual with teaching daily living skills, safety skills, finding social outings and/or recreational activities in the community, or provide assistance in their work place.
You will teach and encourage your clients to work on their goals and engage in preferred activities to enhance their quality of life.
Activities could involve going to the library, parks, swimming, playing basketball, catch, etc.
and endless fun community activities.

criminal history checks, child and dependent adult abuse clearance, a professional reference and reliable transportation.
High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Direct experience preferred, but not required as training is provided.
Pay:
$13 per service hour.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
